Google Releases Veo 3: Now Your Videos Will Talk, Not Just Stay Silent

If you thought artificial intelligence could already do too much, rest assured: now it can also give voice to your dreams. At the annual Google I/O conference, CEO Sundar Pichai announced the launch of Veo 3—a video generator on AI steroids. Now your clips won’t just flicker with pixels, but will cheerfully chat with each other, and for atmosphere—even meow, bark, and possibly philosophize about the meaning of existence.

The company proudly claims: Veo 3 not only skillfully handles text and graphic prompts, but can also recreate “real physics” (let’s hope it skips the Big Bang) and synchronize speech with lip movements. From now on, your virtual characters won’t communicate in the style of bad 90s dubbing.

However, this joy is not yet available to everyone, but only to selected American subscribers of the new Ultra plan at $249.99 per month. At such a price, the subscription is clearly aimed at those who not only love AI, but are ready to support it at the level of an average Californian cat. Veo 3 is also available on the corporate platform Vertex AI, where anyone can create their own “Hollywood in five minutes.”

In addition, Google presented Imagen 4—an image generator that, they promise, will no longer confuse historical eras or turn knights into capybaras. Everyone will also be pleased with the Flow tool: now you just need to describe the location and style, and the AI will shoot a movie for you—just get the popcorn ready.

Recall that previous versions of Google sometimes delighted the public with alternative history and equally alternative anatomy. Co-founder Sergey Brin even admitted: “We screwed up,” and promised to test products more before launch. But as we know, the best test is a user’s trial by fire.

Now Google’s AI can not only create worlds out of nothing, but also voice them in ways you never even asked for. We’re just waiting for the release of artistic whistling and the sound of falling slippers—and then you really won’t have to get off the couch for creativity.
