Linkin Park Resurrect Nu Metal in Madrid with One Powerful Concert
Published:
The legendary band will perform in Spain for the first time since Chester Bennington, with new vocalist Emily Armstrong and the album "From Zero"

Like any good drama, this story began with longing and unexpected hope. While Spanish Linkin Park fans were already preparing memorial candles and "In the End" playlists for solo listening, the band suddenly decided: “Why not Spain?” and added Madrid to their tour schedule. Miracles do happen – and there’s no magic here, just marketing and a bit of nostalgia.
On June 23, 2026, at Auditorio Miguel Ríos (Rivas-Vaciamadrid), something will happen that every nu metal fan with a Spanish passport has dreamed of: Linkin Park will take the stage for the first time since the tragic loss of Chester Bennington. But the surprises don’t end there. New vocalist Emily Armstrong will prove that replacing a legend is hard, but possible—if you have enough charisma and steel vocal cords.
The tour is dedicated to the new album "From Zero"—the very one where the band seems to have decided that starting over isn’t so scary if you’ve already been the idol of thousands of young music lovers in the early 2000s. The price: a democratic 84 euros per ticket. Judging by the trend, that’s cheaper than a nostalgia subscription for the next decade.
As tradition goes, the opening act could be either genre veterans or something trendy and young, so no one gets bored. On the European leg of the tour, Linkin Park have already shared the stage with Spiritbox, AFI, Architects, Grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA, and PVRIS. We’re rooting for Spiritbox—maybe their appearance will be a pleasant bonus for the most curious ears.
So if you haven’t worn a black Linkin Park t-shirt in a while or forgotten what it’s like to shout every word in a crowd of like-minded fans, now’s the time to remember. After all, the concert promises to be truly “one more light” for everyone who believed that a new chapter for the legend is possible.
